What is the Property Law? What Are the Rights of Tenants and Landlords?

The Property Law covers the legal rules regulating transactions related to rental and for-sale real estate in Türkiye. In particular, tenant rights and landlord responsibilities are determined within the framework of this law. Tenants have the right to occupy the property for the duration of the contract and rent increases cannot be made beyond legal limits. Landlords, on the other hand, have the right to receive rent payments on time and to evict the tenant for legal reasons.
