For a clean residential property, the tax number, Foreign Exchange Purchase Certificate and title deed appointment can be completed in anything from a few days to 2–3 weeks. A power of attorney, a mortgage, annotations on the title, a missing occupancy permit, a TTB certificate for citizenship and, after 1 October 2026, the secure payment account all extend the timeline. If the military or security check is not done before the deposit, the schedule falls apart.
