Is a new development or a resale property the better choice?

Answer

It depends on the goal. New developments carry occupancy-permit, delivery-date and developer risks. With a resale property you buy what you see, but renovation and hidden-annotation risks remain. For citizenship and residence, the occupancy permit and title deed type matter more than whether the property is new or old.

A buyer from Denmark expects an energy certificate and delivery quality. Not every building in Konya has Nordic-standard insulation; the winter energy bill must be included in the yield calculation.

For a development, İnterkon Realty Group documents the delivery and occupancy-permit schedule; for a resale property, the title deed and the actual condition — in separate files.
