Is the 10% foreign ownership cap per district a problem in Konya?

Answer

Under Article 35 of the Land Registry Law, real estate and independent, permanent rights in rem acquired by foreigners may not exceed 10% of the privately owned land area of the district. If the quota is full, registration stops. The cap fills up more often in coastal districts and some metropolitan districts; in Konya's central districts it is rarely the first obstacle for a typical apartment purchase — but it is not non-existent.

Buyers from Denmark should not think of the quota as abstract. It fills up not with your passport but with the total foreign registrations in that district.

İnterkon Realty Group confirms any current registration restriction in the target district at the start of the transaction.
